Wellness coach Rosemary Beall swears off mayonnaise—completely. She won’t eat a dish that includes it. She also asks for a vegetable or salad instead of a starchy side dish, and she asks servers to bring salad dressings and sauces on the side. “If I’m at a place where all I can find is a fish dish with a creamy topping, I just say, ‘Don’t bring the sauce at all, or bring it on the side,’ ” she says. Registered yoga teacher and life coach Elena Keegan focuses on embracing new healthy behaviors. “Instead of denying yourself, try to focus on building a positive habit,” Keegan says. “When I talk about this with clients, I don’t ask people to stop doing something. I ask them to add habits that will lead them to what they want.” Read more about what these fit folks pick by clicking here.
