We started the day at the Foundation Stage, watching Jeffery Broussard & the Creole Cowboys bring some zydeco to the early arrivals.

In the lobby of the Old State Capitol, several bands gave acoustic performances, including the Wilder Janes.

At the Backstage at the Blues Fest Q&A, Amy Jeffries of WRKF interviewed Lil Buck Sinegal, who strummed his guitar throughout the session.

The crowds started packing in at the Swamp Blues Stage for Chris LeBlanc Band’s performance.

The weather couldn’t have been better as festival goers took advantage of the sun, the green space and the water fountains in front of the courthouse.
