Red Star hosts Melters, Gal Holiday

Catch back-to-back shows at Red Star this weekend as the adorable fun-pop trio Melters tear up the Laurel Street concrete box Friday night. Perhaps this time you’ll catch one member smashing his bass guitar and stomping out the door in true punk-rock fashion. If having to wear safety glasses to a music show is not your thing, then head to Red Star Saturday night after the fireworks for some 1940s vintage swing as Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Review of New Orleans returns to her favorite B.R. haunt.
