Red Hot Clay celebrates first anniversary

Saturday is Red Hot Center for Clay’s first anniversary, and they’ll be celebrating all day with fun sculpting and clay-themed events, starting with all-day “Olymp-a-Clay” competition. Featuring games like Tandem Throwing, Cylinder Throwing Relay Race, and All-Day Pots, Olymp-A-Clay is a great place for potters and handbuilders to show off their skills. Registration for the games is $30 at the door. There will be a kids play area, and awards ceremonies complete with medals! Olymp-A-Clay will be followed from 7-9pm by a Member/Student Showcase, with refreshments and live music. It all goes down at the Red Hot Center for Clay at 7353 Highland Road, Suite C. redhotclay.com
