Rain, rain, go away

So last week’s Live After 5 concert was cancelled due to inclement weather, and this week may or may not shape up to be equally unfortunate, but if the clouds part on Friday afternoon, Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band will be ready and waiting to party down. Their high-energy zydeco dance music is sure to get you out of your seat and spinning through the crowd. Hope for sunshine for this open to the public performance. 5 p.m. at Galvez Plaza by the River Center Branch Library downtown.
