Race for the cure

This Saturday, suit up and participate in Baton Rouge’s biggest racing event—the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Every year more than 12,000 runners and walkers participate in this famed 5K, which raises money and awareness towards finding a cure for breast cancer. There’s still time to pre-register for the race at komenbatonrouge.org. The registration fee for the race is $30, and the race line-up starts at 7 a.m. at the LSU Old Front 9.
