Put together your child’s ID kit Sunday

Pick up an identification kit this Sunday for your child at the Prevent, Prepare, Promote! event for the CASA Kids Day at the Mall of Louisiana. Kits include a picture of your child on a disc, a set of fingerprints and a lock of hair for DNA testing—all helpful for Amber Alerts when a child is abducted or missing. Sponsored by the Junior League of Baton Rouge, Capital Area CASA and the Amber Alert Foundation of Louisiana, the event offers novel ways to educate parents and kids to prevent and prepare for child safety.
