Punk rock opera comes to the River Center

Tune in and get loud with the sounds of Green Day and a rebellious, raucous show Sunday night. Part of the River Center’s Broadway in Baton Rouge season, the punk musical American Idiot—a one-act adaptation of Green Day’s 2004 album—will rock the stage with renditions of songs like “Holiday,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” The show begins at 8 p.m., and tickets start at $40.
