Psychedelic party celebrates contemporary art

The Young Professionals group at the LSU Museum of Art are back with the latest installment of MOA Nights, “Art’s Groovy, Baby,” a swingin’ party celebrating the museum’s latest exhibition, “An Adventure in the Arts,” featuring artwork by Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning and more Saturday, April 5. Dress to impress and enter the 1960s costume contest. The Zion Prophets will provide the evening’s soundtrack with live reggae music and an after party will follow at Red Star (your admission bracelet is your free pass to Red Star). Admission is $5 for museum members and $10 for all others. 5 p.m.
