Provident Provence at LSU
Did this summer’s One Book One Community selection Poor Man’s Provence make the top of your personal book list? Then don’t miss author Rheta Grimsley Johnson in person on LSU’s campus Thursday night. Helene Boudreaux, one of the people featured in the book, will entertain the audience with her favorite Cajun ballads. Then Johnson will take to the podium to discuss themes from her memoir and answer the audience’s burning questions. The event takes place at the LSU Cox Communications Academic Center for Student Athletes on the corner of Fieldhouse and North Stadium Dr. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., event begins at 7 p.m. Free to the public.
