Progressive dinner moves through Perkins overpass

The merchants of Perkins Road Overpass area are doing something that should’ve been done a long time ago: A progressive dinner. Enjoy late-evening shopping and entertainment in the mom-and-pop shops that dot the historic district this Thursday evening. The “Moveable Feast” benefits Best Buddies Louisiana, a nonprofit that will “provide friendship and employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities right here in Louisiana.” Participating restaurants and merchants include Chelsea’s, Zippy’s, George’s, DiGulio Brothers, Bella Bella, Zee Zee Gardens, Royal Standard and Cottonwood Books.
