‘Preserving the Heritage’

The Capitol Park Museum will host the second of a series of talks on Thursday highlighting Louisiana’s Acadian, Cajun and Creole heritage. This week’s talk, titled “Preserving the Heritage: Bayou Pigeon, Louisiana—Spirit of the Atchafalaya,” features Cliff LeGrange, Adam Landry, Geraldine Settoon, Jimmy Landry, Patricia Settoon and Stan Routh discussing traditions and culture of the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area. Guests will also enjoy a Cajun music presentation by Calvin LeBlanc. The event is free. Refreshments will be provided at 6 p.m. and the program starts at 6:30 p.m.
