Phantom Party Records throws CD release party

Local indie record label Phantom Party Records celebrates the release of Cohen Hartman & the Bone Machine’s compilation album with a night of high-energy performances at the Varsity Theatre. First up is England in 1819, whose dreamlike sounds will lull you into a reverie before Cohen and the Bone Machine take the stage to perform their hard-edged jazz-rock. Then it’s the sweet and bouncy duet-vocal stylings of Royal Teeth and the dirty rock of He Bleeds Firemen to round out the night. Tickets are $10. Doors open at 8 p.m. varsitytheatre.com
