People to Watch in the Capital Region for 2016

At 225, we begin each new year with a celebration of Baton Rougeans who inspire us. Our People to Watch are leaders, mentors, risk takers and record breakers.

We captured this year’s group in action doing what they do best—swinging a baseball bat, diving to capture that perfect shot on camera, leaping over hurdles to win the 100-meter race or belting out a song on stage.

You might spot them this year in the Olympics, PGA Championship, in the pages of GQ magazine—or right here in Baton Rouge, making a difference in the classroom.

Keep an eye on this group—they are going to do big things.
