Pei Wei to open in January, offers glimpse at menu

Pei Wei, a fast-casual Asian diner concept that is part of the P.F. Chang’s family of restaurants, is planning to open its first Baton Rouge location in the Acadian Village shopping center sometime in January. The location will feature Asian-inspired entrees not unlike P.F. Chang’s—pad thai, Mandarin kung pao chicken and honey-seared shrimp are all featured on the menu. Pei Wei will also offer a few gluten-free menu items and some dinner options. Anchor tenant Trader Joe’s opened Oct. 31 in Acadian Village, and several other retail and restaurant openings are anticipated in the coming months. The shopping center also features La Divina Italian Café.
