Parade Ground Coffee Porter

Tin Roof’s latest brew, the Parade Ground Coffee Porter that 225 readers helped name, is now available to taste at taps across the city. Number five in Tin Roof’s lineup, joining beers like the Voodoo Bengal and Band Blonde, it’s the Baton Rouge brewery’s first fall seasonal—a dark beer with a rich, coffee-infused flavor. You can grab a sip at the Chimes’ LSU location, Happy’s downtown, The Bulldog, The Renaissance Hotel and Rotolo’s in Prairieville, with more locations soon to follow. Frequent 225 contributor and beer enthusiast Jay Ducote noted in his blog, “The beer is best enjoyed chilled, but certainly not ice cold, so please do yourself a favor and alert any unknowing bartender that you’d like a non-frosted glass.” Follow Tin Roof on Facebook to find out where else this new brew gets tapped.
