Open House for Opera

Opéra Louisiane presents its second annual Open House for Opera this Thursday from 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. at a private home in the Country Club of Louisiana. This fundraiser will benefit the Opéra Louisiane annual fund campaign, which allows the company to put on shows throughout the year. The event will feature performers Ebony Preston and Chauncey Packer in concert with Louis Wendt at the piano. Enjoy an evening of delectable hors d’oeuvres, fine wines, beautiful music and the company’s 2012-2013 season announcement. Tickets are $75 per person or $140 per couple at operalouisiane.com.
