On the road: Have fun at the 2014 Frisco Fest

Get the family and hop in the car to Garyville for the 2014 Frisco Fest Spring Garden Show. The event features more than 100 arts and crafts booths, an open car show, a 25- and 40-mile bike tour, fun run 5K, cracklin cook-off and much more. Frisco Fest will also have pony rides, a petting zoo, space walks and much more for the kids. The free event kicks off Saturday at the San Francisco Plantation, 2646 Highway 44. The event’s hours are Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
