On the road: Get crafty

A free screening of the acclaimed documentary Handmade Nation will premiere at the Lac Maurepas room at the Delgado Student Life Center at Delgado Community College in New Orleans on Friday. The screening of the film—which tackles the subject of the newly-revived DIY and crafting movement—will be accompanied by a craft market with local artists and members of the New Orleans Craft Mob, and a Q&A with director Faythe Levine. 7 p.m. You can watch the trailer at handmadenation.com.
