Old Galatoire’s Bistro location will have new tenants by September

The former Galatoire’s Bistro location on Old Perkins Road near Highland Road will be occupied soon. George Kurz of Kurz & Hebert Commercial Real Estate confirmed that a lease on the building is pending. Part of the building will become a new restaurant, with an additional business that will be something “completely different,” Kurz says. Kurz could not say who the new tenant is, but did say that patrons can expect an announcement in September. These new businesses will be in the same shopping center located next to Cyrus Persian Rugs, Pandocchi’s Hair Salon and Edit by LBP, a women’s clothing store. Galatoire’s closed the Old Perkins Road location in March 2011 to move near the intersection of Perkins Road and South Acadian Thruway in January. —Matthew Sigur
