‘Obsessed’ with the Replacements

This Friday night, the Manship Theatre screens a documentary about one of the greatest bands you’ve never heard of: The Replacements. Pioneers of alt-rock, the band influenced and inspired generations of musicians—and the story of their alcohol-fueled rise and fall is epic, funny, sad and strange. Color Me Obsessed tells that story and holds nothing back. Following the screening, local group Scoundrel’s Auxillary Band will play a full repertoire of Replacements covers in the Hartley/Vey Studio Theatre. Tickets are $10. 7:30 p.m. manshiptheatre.org
