Not all restaurants are closed for Easter lunch
If your grandmother’s not up for slow-cooking a pot roast or a honey-baked ham this Easter, there are a few decent dining options this Sunday. Bistro Byronz doesn’t want you to hunt for your dining Easter eggs, so they’re open for a celestial brunch, featuring eggs benedict, pain perdu, grits and grillades. Galatoire’s Bistro also is open for brunch with specialty dishes like turtle soup au Sherry, eggs sardou (as pictured, photo by Louis Sahuc) and shrimp and grits. And if you’re on a budget this year, Copeland’s offers its Easter specials, including fresh fish magnolia, barbecue shrimp Orleans and oyster artichoke boil—all at its original prices from 1983. Beat that!
