This week, we take a look at a few of the delicious noodle options on Baton Rouge menus, and encourage you to try them for yourself: Pho Quynh (11990 Florida Blvd.) Cuisine: Vietnamese The dish: Pho, pronounced “fuh,” is known as the national dish of Vietnam. Traditionally a beef broth soup with rice noodles, meat and a variety of add-ins, this is a one-bowl meal. The almost angel-hair rice noodles delicately blend into the hearty soup and absorb flavors without becoming overwhelming. Why it’s good: Pho? That’s their middle name. Actually, it’s the second half of their first name—and rightfully so. Pho Quynh’s mission to expose Baton Rouge to Vietnamese cuisine makes for a large menu of nearly 200 items. Step up to the wide variety of pho on offer, from meatballs to chicken broth-based to more traditional beef-laden flavors.Click here to read more.—Caroline Gerdes
