Nobody Walks (new on Blu-ray)
Co-written by TV’s current it-girl, the Golden Globe winning Girls scribe Lena Dunham, and starring The Office’s John Krasinski, Nobody Walks has a more colorful pedigree than most run-of–the-mill dysfunctional marriage dramedies. Krasinski, most recently seen fighting fracking opposite Matt Damon in Gus Van Sant’s The Promised Land, stars as a married Hollywood sound editor whose faithfulness and interest in his wife is tested when the family takes in a friend-of-a-friend, a young art school student who moves in while completing her senior project, an experimental film installation about ants.
As Krasinski takes her under his wing, his attraction to her grows, forcing him to examine himself and his priorities in life.
Rosemarie DeWitt stars as Krasinski’s wife, while Dylan McDermott, Jane Levy and India Ennenga co-star. Rated R.
