Night owls keeping Enoteca Marcello’s up late

In response to customer demand, the Enoteca Marcello’s wine bar and retail store is extending its hours. The Southdowns retailer now will stay open until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Gene Todaro, who owns Enoteca Marcello’s, says he was kicking out about 50 customers a night when the bar closed at midnight. “We’ve been so busy, it’s crazy,” he says. Enoteca Marcello’s will serve antipasto platters until 2 a.m. after the kitchen closes.
