Night of the gators

BREC’s Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center has extended their night swamp hikes for an additional week. Stalwart nature trekkers aged 7 and up can experience the magic of the swamp after dark, on an after-hours tour led by nature center staff. Spot alligators, bats, lightning bugs, and other nocturnal creepers along the way. Long pants, close-toed shoes, insect repellent and a flashlight are highly recommended. Friday, 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.
