Niche to serve special Parish Brewing Co. beer next week

As part of the inaugural Louisiana Craft Brewers Week, Niche Restaurant (Map it!) will serve Parish Brewing Co.’s Dr. Hoptagon next Tuesday, starting at 7 p.m. The beer from the Broussard, La., brewery is a limited edition, double black IPA and will be available that night. Niche is the first Baton Rouge restaurant to serve this beer, which is the third special release following Parish’s Grand Reserve and Farmhouse IPA. The event will also feature new menu items from the restaurant. Chef Sean Rivera will be serving up fish and grits, Panko fried flounder and stuffed shrimp.
