Pig and Plough Suppers hosts its inaugural event, “A Trade Winds Dinner,” next Monday at Beausoliel. Tickets are $85. The event features Lafayette chef Jeremy Conner teaming up with Beausoliel’s head chef Nathan Gresham and Jay Ducote of Bite and Booze for a six-course meal. Proceeds benefit Cooking Matters for Families, an initiative from Slow Food Baton Rouge to teach families to eat more nutritious meals. The dinner starts at 6 p.m. Read 225‘s story.

Manship Theatre will screen Babes in Arms next Wednesday at 2 p.m. The film stars Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland. Tickets are $8.
