New La. seafood certification program gives seal of approval to first product
The first product to carry the Certified Authentic Louisiana Wild Seafood label was announced at LSU Tuesday by officials behind the certification and branding campaign. The Vermilion Bay Sweet White Shrimp gumbo pack is the first of what officials at the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board hope will be many products in the state to carry the seal.
