New artists welcomed to Baton Rouge Gallery

Tonight, the Baton Rouge Gallery welcomes two brand-new artist members with a First Wednesday reception complete with wine, cheese and a meet and greet with the artists themselves, Haejung Lee and Kelly A. Mueller. In keeping with the gallery’s tradition as the longest-standing artist-cooperative in America, the two were selected to join Baton Rouge Gallery last fall by a select committee of the current artist membership. Gallery visitors will be treated to Mueller’s dense, painted tapestries in the front gallery and Lee’s evocative ceramic installations in The Paul A. Dufour Gallery. The exhibition is free and open to the public for its duration, and don’t miss the ARTiculate Gallery Tour this Sunday, where the artists will take you through their work.
