N.O. crepe restaurant coming to Mall of Louisiana

La Crepe Nanou, a New Orleans-based French bistro, is set to open a location at the Mall of Louisiana by Oct. 1. The 3,000-square-foot restaurant will be in the mall’s open-air Boulevard lifestyle center, behind Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt. Todd Denton, the mall’s general manager, says the plan is for La Crepe Nanou to be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. “It will be nice to get them in here,” he says. La Crepe Nanou has been open in uptown New Orleans since 1983, serving French bistro dishes, such as steamed mussels and escargots, along with sweet and savory crepes. Doyle Restaurant Group, which franchised The Wine Loft, is franchising locations of La Crepe Nanou. The mall location is set to open a month after Pluckers Wing Bar opens in the former Bennigan’s site.—Timothy Boone
