“Brunet’s Cajun cold platter is a great selection of crab fingers, crawfish, boiled shrimp, a great stuffed avocado — just to die for — lump crab meat, raw oysters and marinated oysters with a shrimp salad and remoulade on the side. It goes perfect with a ‘real’ Coors beer in a frosted mug, not the ice-water Coors. And the presentation is beautiful with all the different colors of the seafood. Brunet’s is my favorite restaurant in all of Baton Rouge. My constituents may or may not like it, but I tell the truth.”
