My Obsession: Saiward Pharr Hromadka, WRKF morning news host

“I always enjoy the panang curry at Thai Pepper. I get tofu as often as I get chicken, but it’s always panang. Thai Pepper is a family-run place, and you can tell they do their own preparation and cooking. The vegetables in the curry vary a bit, depending on what they have fresh that day, but they’re ripe and crisp and the meat is tender. I always get medium spicy, but the heat also varies a bit depending on who’s in the kitchen. I understand that the variation could bother some people, but I love it. It feels a bit like going to a friend’s house for dinner: You don’t know exactly what is going to be in the dish, but you know it’s going to be good.”
