Mutts strut on Sunday

Kick off a barking good Mardi Gras season at the Mystic Krewe of Mutts parade this Sunday. Local dog owners will pamper their pups with cool costumes and a fun stroll through the streets of downtown. This year’s theme is “Hooray for Howl-Y-Wood,” so keep your eyes peeled for doggies dressed as famous celebs. Parade rolls at 1:30 p.m., but there’s plenty of fun for pet owners starting with Bark in the Park at 10 a.m. Visit caaws.org for more information.
