Music: Best Bets

As a forerunner of the chillwave movement, Washed Out has been manning the synths and rocking fans gently ever since Within and Without came out last summer. The one-man band of Ernest Greene impressed bloggers and music critics with his airy, yet layered tracks, like “Feel It All Around,” which some of you might recognize in the opening credits of IFC’s Portlandia.
