Museum after Dark … Abita beer dinner at Stroube’s
Cook like a Viking: The Viking Cooking School will hold a culinary demonstration tonight from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the LSU Museum of Art on the third floor of the Shaw Center. The demo will feature Louisiana cuisine to complement the museum’s Uniquely Louisiana exhibition. Un-Abita-ble flavor: The Abita Brewing Company hosts the latest in its 2012 Abita Dinner series at Stroube’s Seafood and Steaks on Third Street downtown Nov. 1. Each course of the meal is paired with an Abita beer, from alligator rice cake with crawfish courtboullion and Creole goat cheese, paired with Jockamo IPA, to a foie gras and pecan-stuffed quail paired with Pecan Harvest Ale.
