‘Muppets’ on a string

Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the classic Muppets gang all return today for a new big screen adventure in The Muppets, a film hatched by writer and star Jason Segel, a longtime fanatic of the lovable puppets whose dream its been to star alongside them. When their old theater is threatened with demolition by a greedy oil tycoon, the Muppets reunite with the help of three friends and take a stand and re-ignite their fame with an all-star telethon. Amy Adams and Chris Cooper co-star alongside a sheepish new Muppet named Walter and Chris Cooper as the villainous Tex Richman. Rated PG. (Photo by Andrew MacPherson)
