‘Muppet’ caper

Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the classic Muppets gang all returned last fall for a new big screen adventure in The Muppets, a film hatched by writer and star Jason Segel, a longtime fanatic of the lovable puppets whose dream its been to star alongside them. The Muppets is new this week on DVD. When their old theater is threatened with demolition by a greedy oil tycoon, the Muppets reunite with the help of three friends and take a stand and re-ignite their fame with an all-star telethon. Amy Adams and Chris Cooper co-star alongside a sheepish new Muppet named Walter and Chris Cooper as the villainous Tex Richman. Rated PG.
