Movies and Music on the Lawn returns – What do you get when you mix a silent film with a new score from a local band?
What do you get when you mix a silent film with a new score from a local band? The answer is Baton Rouge Gallery’s summer film series Movies and Music on the Lawn. The seasonal event returns Saturday with a screening of the Oscar-winning 2011 film The Artist, scored by the jazz/fusion band Captain Green. The film will be shown on a huge screen on the lawn in City Park at 8 p.m. Admission is $5 and includes bottomless popcorn. For more information, click here.
