Mirrors reflects frights on Friday

Looking for chills, thrills or at least a little Jack Bauer snack until the two-hour 24 TV movie hits Nov. 23? Mirrors stars Keifer Sutherland as a retired cop-turned-security guard who discovers paranormal forces targeting his friends and family. Director Alexandre Aja isn’t afraid to crank up the horror with plenty of gore, but whether Mirrors will surpass a good Agent Bauer torture scene in shocks remains to be seen. Paul Patton and Amy Smart co-star. Rated R.
