‘Mirror’ images

Grimm’s classic fairy tale comes to life this Friday with director Tarsem Singh’s fantastical, family-friendly rendition of the Snow White story in Mirror Mirror. When an evil queen steals the throne, a young princess in exile seeks the help of seven brave and big-hearted, if not big in stature, men. Julia Roberts stars as the beauty and power-obsessed queen and up-and-comer Lily Collins portrays Grimm’s “little Snow White.” Sean Bean, Armie Hammer and Nathan Lane co-star. Rated PG.
