Midsummer Night’s Dream with the B.R. Symphony

The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra brings you a dreamy evening for the latest in their Entergy Masterworks Series. Former Baton Rouge Symphony trumpet player Louis Abel brings us his piece entitled Idyll, a memorial to his oldest son Paul Louis Abel, III. The BRSO Chorus makes an appearance in Mendelssohn’s Suite from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In addition to above pieces, the Chorus will sing three sublime selections entitled English Anthems by Handel, Williams, and Holst.
