Memorial Day concert helps us remember

No plans Monday? Grab a lawn chair and a picnic basket and head to the State Capitol downtown for the Memorial Day Concert on Monday evening. The Baton Rouge Concert Band performs symphonic, patriotic pieces, including “The Stars and Stripes Forever.” Show starts at 7 p.m. Earlier that day, the USS Kidd hosts a memorial service, honoring the men and women of the Armed Forces who lost their lives in service to the country.
