The book version of the popular monologue series Meanwhile, Back at Café Du Monde… has hit No. 1 on the Amazon “Hot New Releases for Louisiana” list. The book pulls from stories told by foodies, chefs and farmers from all over Louisiana, and presented at the Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport, Los Angeles and San Francisco Meanwhile… shows in 2010 and 2011. “This is very exciting as the book won’t be available until Sept. 15, so this is based on pre-sales,” says author and editor Peggy Sweeny-McDonald.
