Manship marks the anniversary of JFK’s assassination

On November 22, 1963, the world changed forever with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. This Friday marks the 50th anniversary of that fateful day, and the Manship Theatre has teamed up with LPB and the West Baton Rouge Museum to commemorate the event all over Baton Rouge. Leading the pack is Manship’s screening of Parkland, a cinematic retelling of the Dallas parade that made history 50 years ago. Tickets are $8.50 for 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. showings.
