If you’ve had enough of peering at paintings on museum walls and want to get your hands dirty, there are two places where you can beef up your brush strokes this Thursday night. From 6-8 p.m., enjoy some wine and appetizers before you start a painting class with instructors from Corks N’ Canvas at Cheesecake Bistro. Call 788-5017 for more information. Or, head across the river for Wine and Watercolors at the West Baton Rouge Museum, where live models in 19th century dress will pose around the grounds for you to paint.
