LSU Theatre Lab gets “Smoking Lesson”

The LSU Theatre Lab season continues this month with the haunting drama The Smoking Lesson, running from Tuesday, Oct. 18 through Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Studio Theatre in the LSU Music and Dramatic Arts building. This unnerving play tells the story of three very different girls bound together by a dark secret, turning the unfortunate death of their friend, Pearl, into a ritual remembrance. One night a young man implicated in the tragedy stumbles onto the ritual and the girls find themselves far more fascinated than afraid of him. What he doesn’t know is that one of the girls knows more about what happened on the day Pearl died than even he does. Tickets are $10; cash only at the door.
