LSU night of French cinema
Laissez les bon temps roulez on Friday, when the Center for French and Francophone studies at LSU presents its fifth annual night of Francophone cinema at the Manship Theatre. Between courses of baguettes, desserts, wine and cheese, you’ll enjoy four of the finest French-language films, some of which have never before screened in the United States. Once you’re done watching La Môme, De Pčre en Flic, Paris and Le Placard, refresh with a French breakfast of croissants and coffee before heading home to spend the rest of Saturday in lazy contemplation. 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. $20 general admission, $10 for students. Visit manshiptheatre.org for more details.
