LSU leisure classes on food and wine start in February
Hone your wine knowledge and brush up on your cooking skills through the LSU Student Union Leisure Classes. For decades, these classes have provided a way for area residents to develop their knowledge of music, dancing, foreign languages, yoga and more.
This spring’s “Food and Spirits” selections begin Feb. 3 and include how to make almond milk and green smoothies and how to whip up fresh hummus. Sharpen your cupcake and cookie blossom skills through baking and decorating sessions. And perfect your wine awareness in two different tasting seminars held in the cellar of The Chimes.
Classes are small and spaces fill up fast. Some classes are one-day sessions; others span five weeks. Discounts are available to LSU students and their parents, leisure classes members, and LSU faculty and staff.
