LSU gymnastics hosts memorial meet against Alabama

The LSU gymnastics team will host the inaugural Etta James Memorial Meet when they compete against Alabama at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 in the PMAC to promote breast cancer awareness in the Baton Rouge area. Named in honor of Bradie James’ mother, who succumbed to the disease in 2002, the meet will raise money for Foundation56, an organization created by the former LSU standout linebacker and Dallas Cowboys defensive star to advocate early detection. Donations accepted at the door.
